Reading: Our genre is expository text
(nonfiction). This type of literature
gives information about a topic. We
will be reading selections about different regions in the world. We will be comparing and contrasting (alike
and different) polar regions and rainforests.
Sight Words: By the end of the week your
child should be able read these words quickly and easily. Please post this letter in a handy spot (on
the fridge, etc.) and have your child practice reading through these words a
couple of times each day.
