Second Grade News
September 26-October 4
Parents,
This is the format for my
newsletters. It mainly deals with words
your child needs to learn to read, spell and understand. I ask that you post this in a handy and
visible spot where your child can use it when you practice words at home.
Reading: Our genre is fiction. We will be reading a variety of fiction
stories and learning that a fiction story has made up character and
events. Fiction also has a beginning,
middle, and end.
Spelling: Consonant blends. Our spelling test will be on Tuesday, October
4.
