Here is a peek at what we are working
on in our classroom.
Reading: Our genre is nonfiction. This type of literature is about real people,
things, or events. We will be reading a variety of nonfiction selections about
animals.
Spelling: Words with short a and long a. Our next spelling test will be on Thursday,
October 13.

Sight Words: By the end of the week your child should be
able read these words quickly and easily. Please post this letter in a handy spot (on
the fridge, etc.) and have your child practice reading through these words a
couple of times each day.
