Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be November 10 and February 23.  Please mark your calendars.

End of the Day Pick-Up
Student pick-up at the end of the day is in the elementary cafeteria.

Backpack
All students will need a backpack large enough to hold books and papers.  The students should plan on carrying this bag to school every day all year long.

Home-School Folder
Please have your child bring one plastic or vinyl-coated pocket folder to school at the beginning of the year.  (This was on the back-to-school supply list.)  We will be using this every day to carry our important work papers home for you to see.  Please make a practice of checking this folder every night and going over your child’s papers with him/her.  Then have your child put the folder in his/her backpack to make sure it gets back to school the following morning.

Recess
When the weather permits, we have outside recess.  All children are expected to play outside unless there is a note from a doctor.  Please make sure your child has clothing that is appropriate for outdoor recess.

Note Policy

A note from a parent or guardian is always required in the following situations:

1.    Your child is riding a different bus at the end of the day.

2.    Your child is being picked up after school by someone

      other than a parent.

3.    Your child is leaving before our regular dismissal time.

4.    When a child leaves early he/she must also be signed out

       at the elementary office.

5.     If your child is absent due to illness or other reason,

      a note is appreciated.

Water Bottle
Your child may bring a water bottle to school.  It is to be plain water only-no flavored or colored water.  Please only send bottles that have a non-spill, flip top.  No screw off tops, please.

Snack
Students will have an opportunity for a short snack break in the afternoon.  Please send healthy snacks only (cereal, crackers, fruits, veggies, etc.).
